The article on the front page of the Times Free Press was good to see Wednesday morning after Georgetown residents had spent nine days wondering what TVA’s new $300 million "secure office complex” was.

Still, many questions remain about the impact of this facility in the Georgetown area, the lack of transparency from TVA on a project that has been planned for years, and the need to cut a 175-foot swath through a mile of farmland ... land that will be taken by eminent domain. Stay tuned.
All interested citizens should attend TVA’s information meeting Thursday. The meeting is set for 3-7 p.m. at the Cedar Ridge Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Georgetown, which is located across Highway 60 from the Georgetown Post Office.
