Meigs County Mayor Bill James issued a press release Wednesday expressing support for TVA's Project Viper. We wonder if TVA told Mayor James:
* How much money TVA will pay to Meigs County each year for payments in lieu of taxes,
* How much money TVA will spend in local goods and services from Meigs County,
* How many local residents will TVA hire,
* How much money TVA is committing to for roads and sewers in Georgetown to build the road and sewer infrastructure that is non-existent.
No answers. Are Georgetown and Meigs County really getting a good deal, or just TVA promises?
